DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our upcoming Shikankai on Saturday\, August 
 22nd focusing on the Bodhisattva Practices that are discussed in the Avatam
 saka Sutra. A Shikankai (a gathering for stopping and seeing) is a day long
  meditation retreat. In addition to periods of meditation\, there are also 
 morning and afternoon formal services and an opportunity for an interview w
