WATERFALL PRACTICE
Here is Jake, on retreat from the New York Betsu-in, doing the waterfall practice. Standing under ice-cold waterfalls while reciting the Prajna-paramitra Heart Sutra is one of the traditional ascetic practices in Japan.
This waterfall is a ten-minute walk from the goma-do on Cobb Mountain.
