DAI-AJARI ENAMI SHUNSHO
Previously known as Ajari Utsumi (in John Stevens' book Marathon Monks of Mt Hiei), he is the chief successor to my Japanese master Gozen-sama. Gozen-sama is the dean of the ascetics who have accomplished the 1000-day mountain walking practice; he has about 1500 disciples throughout Japan.
